Areas of Treatment

Greg is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in Texas with over 25 years of experience in counseling. He has provided counseling and support to children, youth, teens and their families in both institutional and private practice settings. He has been a counselor for children and youth in foster care and Greg has worked for an organization offering clinical support in school settings. Prior to that, he worked in the Military and Family Life Consultant program with a focus on counseling the dependents of active-duty service members with a special emphasis on the children and spouses of those service members.

Greg’s main treatment styles focus on a person’s self-image and the thoughts behind that image which often block a person’s ability to see their potentials. That includes looking at the environment in which someone might find themselves and discovering what support systems are available and how to use them effectively. He is also interested in Positive Psychology which builds on strengths instead of just focusing on the negatives. A positive professional committed to helping clients on their journey of self-discovery and wholeness. Greg has training in pastoral care through the Community of Hope, International for those choosing to explore that path.

Greg has 2 grown daughters and twin grandsons. He is an avid reader, enjoys outdoor activities and is a constant learner.
